Employee Matching Programs
Thank you for being a Forest Park PTA supporter in the past, and this year we are counting on your assistance again. Please donate
generously to make our Forest Park Jumpstart Fundraiser an enormous success. Our goal is $50,000. As you may all know,
California budget shortfall has greatly affected our school, like all other schools in the Fremont Unified School District. With cuts
being made in all areas of funding, Forest Park PTA is working hard to stretch our budget as far as possible in ensuring that no more
programs are cut or get affected in our school.
Your fundraising contribution, early in the year, will facilitate our teachers and the PTA to implement the following outstanding
programs and activities to enrich your student’s academic curriculum. In addition to the Back-to-School supplies donated by parents,
70% of your JumpStart donation will go directly towards your child’s classroom and 30% to support the other Student Enrichment
Programs.
Forest Park PTA is a significant supporter of our SCHOOL and our TEACHERS. We work hand-in-hand with the school and sponsor
the following noteworthy activities:
Suggested donation is $75 or more. Please check the box on the attached reply form and send it with your generous donation (check
or cash) in the envelope provided to your child’s teacher by Monday, October 5th, 2009.
Note :
●Every JumpStart Fundraiser Supporter will get a special Forest Park School Calendar Magnet which will highlight all the important school dates
and phone numbers. Names of Doners who contributed $75 or more will be published in the monthly PTA Newsletter.
●Classrooms with 100% participation will receive a Pizza Party.
DOUBLE YOUR DONATION BY ASKING YOUR EMPLOYER FOR A DONATION MATCH !!!
Companies that have matched Employee Contributions in previous years include ADC, Adobe, Alza, Amgen, Applied Materials,
Autonomy, Charles Schwab, Computer Associates, Cadence, Chevron, Cisco, CitiGroup, eBay, Genentech, Google, Intel, Intuit,
Juniper Networks, KLA Tencor, Kraft Foods, Microsoft, Nokia, Oracle, Philips Electronics, Qualcomm, RHI, SAP, SanDisk, Sun
Microsystems, Symantec, Synopsys, Tyco Electronics, Visa, Washington Mutual, Wells Fargo, Xilinx and Yahoo.
It is not a requirement that Company matched checks come in before the Fundraiser end date, as they are usually received by the
PTA around Jaunuary-February timeframe. To make the Company Match filing process easier for busy parents, we have provided
