About:
The PTA Express is a monthly newsletter created by the Forest Park PTA. This newsletter will keep you abreast of school news,
school and PTA-sponsored events. It is also a means of communication between PTA and you.
Contribute:
In each newsletter, students have an opportunity to submit their creations for publication. To contribute, students need to select an
age-appropriate topic and then do one or more of the following:
• Create an original work of art (sketch on plain white paper with black or blue ink)
• Write a poem
• Write a story of fiction (no more than 300 words)
• Create a comic strip
Submit the student’s work by the submission due date. If the submission is on paper, write the following on the back of the work:
• Student’s name
• Teacher’s names
• Classroom number
Submissions can be emailed to me at sonali1desai@yahoo.com or be put in the designated tray in the school office.
Due dates for submissions will be communicated and reminded every month.
Suggestions are always welcome, please feel free to send in ideas, thoughts and ways to improve the newsletter.
