The PTA is pleased to announce the 2011-2012 Reflections Program. The theme for this year is: "Diversity Means… ".
This program provides opportunities for students to express themselves creatively and to receive positive recognition for
original works of art
Participation
The Reflections program is available to all students attending Forest Park Elementary School. Participation in the
Reflections program is a great way for students o explore and learn about various art forms. Creating art is a valuable
learning process that challenges students to use their critical thinking skills as well as their creative talents to create art. A
student may submit an entry in any of the six arts areas listed below. Only original works of art are accepted.
Students may enter more than one work of art, in more than one category.
Areas of Art

* Musical composition
* Visual arts
* Photography
* Film/Video Production
Participation in the Reflections Program is organized by school grade. Student works are critiqued against others in the
same grade division. The three grade divisions are as follows:
Primary : K - Grade 2
Intermediate : Grades 3-5
Middle/Junior : Grade 6

Last date to submit the entry: Tuesday, November 1, 2011.
