With numerous budget cuts school-wide this year, it is imperative that parents help out with school activites to bridge the gap caused
by the reduction in school staff. Volunteers work in the Library, P.E. and go on learning field trips or serve as Room Parents to keep
a solid line of communication among all the parents and teachers in a classroom. Parent involvement may be many more things than
already mentioned. If you would like to help out with some of the events planned by the PTA for this school year, please fill out the

VOLUNTEER HOURS
Many Bay Area companies, such as IBM, Intel, Microsoft and AMD match their employee volunteer hours with a monetary
donation to Forest Park PTA. This may range from $10 - $17 per hour which adds up quckly ! Please find out from your employer if
your company matches your precious Volunteer time  and start logging those hours in ! Here's a complete list of companies that
match employee volunteer hours with a monetary donation. If your company participates in some form of Employee Volunteer Hours
Matching Program and is not in the list, please contact the Web Administrator at admin@forestparkpta.org so that we can add
